Print vendor Lexmark is launching a new services-focused channel partner scheme.
The initiative, dubbed the Lexmark Expert Service Partner Programme (LESP), includes new parts pricing, optional next-day delivery, returns, three levels of service coverage, benchmarking, a support phone number and training.
Francois Feuillet, general manager of the EMEA channel at Lexmark, said the move reflected the increasing importance of services to VARs.
"Services are becoming more and more important to the end user," he said.
"These new channel initiatives have been designed to better support Lexmark's dealer community, helping it develop services that support clients' businesses and affect the bottom line while reducing the risk to the partner."
