Distributor Steljes has created a new role of national sales manager and appointed Mark Mason (pictured), regional business manager for Scotland and the North, to the post.
Martine Dodwell-Bennett, sales and marketing director at Steljes, said Mason's contribution to the growth of the business has been significant.
"Our resellers look to us for technical expertise and industry knowledge and Mason will continue to play an invaluable role in helping them meet the challenges they face," she said.
He will continue to have responsibilities for regional business across Scotland and the North, as his old job is being rolled into the new national sales manager position. He will still be based in Scotland, particularly in Edinburgh, and will work also in the comapny's Leeds, Bagshot and eventually Greater Manchester offices.
As national sales manager, Mason will be responsible for expanding Steljes' business in new and emerging market sectors.
