Resellers can use the Vigil Reseller Credits Portal to rack up credits for shifting product from Vigil vendors such as LogRhythm, M86 and Safend, and redeem them for marketing tools.
Vigil has also taken on telemarketing agency AMS/Astute – well known in the UK channel for its work with vendors including SonicWall – to maximise the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns.
The credits can be exchanged for "packaged" marketing campaigns such as email promotions aimed at specific groups, or email supported by telemarketing activity. More bespoke activities such as roundtables or breakfast seminars are also available.
In addition, the portal provides resellers with access to vendor promotions, marketing collateral and training courses.
Alex Teh, commercial director at Vigil, said: "It is not only designed to complement existing vendor incentive schemes but also intended to reward businesses rather than individuals."
Tim Warner, vice president of sales at M86, said: "We are particularly impressed with the new scheme, which provides an additional incentive for closing sales and no doubt will help to drive further business. It is a user-friendly system which enables partners to see results from campaigns in real time and, in effect, rewards them for doing good business."
