Three Sony resellers will receive an office makeover in a new promotion designed to drive sales of the vendor's new VAIO range.
Launching today and running until 28 September, the contest will culminate in Sony kitting out three UK partners with the latest ultrabooks, projectors and tablets.
The top prize will see the winning reseller furnished with a "Sony boardroom", comprising a 55in Bravia TV, five VAIO T Series ultrabooks, five Sony tablet Ss and a Sony projector.
One entry will be awarded for every purchase of any of 28 qualifying Sony VAIO products from distributors Computer 2000, Micro-P and Ingram Micro between today and 28 September. The draw will be made on 9 October.
The second- and third-placed VARs will receive a Sony 3D theatre and Sony Mobile Office respectively.
Raj Pandya, B2B sales head at Sony, said the promotion represents a switch up from the traditional sales spiffs approach.
"The office makeover scheme sees us step away from traditional sales incentives in favour of a much fresher approach that instead gives our resellers the chance to transform their own working environment with the latest and greatest kit from Sony," he said.
The promotion is available only to accounts that have registered before 31 August, Sony warned. DMRs [direct market resellers], retail and export accounts are not valid for the promotion.
