US-based firewall management vendor FireMon has appointed its first UK distributor eight months after touching down on this side of the Atlantic.
FireMon has granted Azlan access to its full range of network security solutions, including its recently launched FireMon Security Manager 6.0.
Its risk analysis and policy and configuration management technology is platform independent and designed to work with all the major network security vendors including Check Point, Cisco, F5, Fortinet, Juniper and McAfee.
The vendor upped the ante against rivals including Tufin, Skybox and AlgoSec in January by hiring its first UK and European staff.
Mark Corrigan, head of enterprise and access networking at Azlan, said security and policy management represents a growing opportunity for resellers addressing the enterprise and public sector markets.
"FireMon leads the way in enterprise risk analysis and management. This is a significant addition to our portfolio and one that complements our existing vendor relationships very well indeed," he said.
Juan Lyall, channel manager EMEA at FireMon, said: "This important partnership will open up new opportunities to drive growth of both management solutions and managed services value propositions that unburden the customer from time-intensive, yet vital, security management tasks."
