ViewSonic has anointed a former Promethean channel sales vice president to lead its European operation, including the UK.
Mark Lufkin, most recently director for software and peripherals at Lenovo EMEA, has been hired as managing director for Europe, based in the US vendor's regional headquarters in London.
Before Lenovo, Lufkin was vice president of EMEA and Asia-Pacific channel sales at interactive audiovisual specialist Promethean, according to a statement from ViewSonic.
"Lufkin brings a strong, diverse background in both sales and marketing," it said. "He has extensive experience in growing new business by driving sales teams across multiple European locations and is skilled in developing channel strategies, programmes, systems and tools."
His focus will be on the core ranges of projectors and monitors as well as developing the ViewSonic channel and customer relationships across Europe, the vendor said.
