Buy-and-build VAR Accumuli is celebrating the success of its contract with website LateRooms.com.
Via its subsidiary Webscreen, the London-listed IT services firm was given the task of providing the hotel-booking outfit with its proprietary DDoS protection gear. During a six-week trial period, the technology picked up on 4,000 incidents.
Better traffic management has reportedly fuelled a two per cent increase in LateRooms' revenue and a return on its investment was delivered after nine months, claimed Webscreen.
Stuart Mills, head of service delivery and IT operations at LateRooms.com, said: "We are delighted with the results achieved from Webscreen which exceeded our expectations. Our IT infrastructure and web presence is critical to the success of our business and as we grow into a worldwide player, we need to ensure our network remains fast, robust and secure."
