Fujitsu's imaging resellers have been in Barcelona for the past three days to attend the imaging division's fifth annual global conference.
The theme this year, according to organiser PFU Imaging Solutions, the imaging subsidiary of Fujitsu, was capturing growth as tough times continue.
Doug Rudolph (pictured), general manager for marketing at PFU, said the event was a three-day forum for sharing best practices and industry knowledge as well as for exchanging ideas and networking.
"Although many industries are struggling, we are still seeing growth in the document imaging market and we shared some of the recent success stories and best practice strategies for our partners to capture their own growth," Rudolph said.
Some 300 document capture experts from all over EMEA met to exchange ideas with each other and with PFU at the event, which concluded yesterday.
The conference bundled up the usual expo, awards, presentations and networking as well as strategic global updates and case studies from customers. It also delved into forecasts for the scanning industry.
