Cloud specialist Carrenza has partnered with Dutch reseller i³ groep to supply IaaS and PaaS cloud services to its customers.
The partnership will help Dutch VAR i³ groep speed up its plans to transition from being a traditional IT infrastructure player to a hybrid and public cloud services provider and build tailored cloud solutions for its customers.
Carrenza will in turn expand its IaaS datacentre operations to the Netherlands to host the services.
Dan Sutherland, chief executive of Carrenza, said: “We are really excited to be working with i3 groep in the Dutch market. We think there are great synergies between our two companies that will allow us to deliver market-leading services together. This partnership also enables us to expand our service offerings to our current UK clients, such as enhanced DR and back-up services.”
Rob Vissers, sales director of i³ groep, added: “Both our companies share the same cloud vision. We feel the cloud concept should be suitable for all Enterprise workload. There should be no difference whether it’s a small web application or an ERP database. Only then will one be able to deploy the strength of a (hybrid) cloud.”
