Channel companies feature prominently in the latest Sunday Times' listings of the highest-performing UK companies.
The likes of ANS Group, Block Solutions, CSA Waverly and Bell Microsystems featured on the Sunday Times' Tech Track, which ranks private UK technology firms with the fastest-growing sales over the past three years.
The channel was equally represented in the Top Track 250, another league table based on the UK's leading mid-market private firms with the largest sales.
Firms such as Sophos, Midwich, Softcat, Kaspersky Lab and Kelway featured on the list, which ranks companies with sales spanning £150m to £600m.
Distributor VIP Computers ranked 225th on the list, and its chairman Jatti Sahni attributed strong business relationships as part of the firm's success.
Sahni said: "I am thankful for our strong relationship with our suppliers and to our customers, many of whom are experiencing some of the toughest economic conditions they have ever known.
"As trading continues to be difficult for the whole industry, VIP has a talented team in place and we continue to invest in new technology and diversifying our product range."
