Computer 2000 (C2000) is strengthening its presence in the public sector with the appointment of a dedicated public sector bids and pricing manager.
Carmel Keightley joins the distributor after running her own specialist lead-generation business and boasts over 20 years of experience in account management and sales support roles at various vendors and resellers.
C2000 launched its public sector initiative earlier this year and has been focusing on building a dedicated sales team and increasing the number of public sector promotions and resources for its resellers.
Cathi Low, director of public sector at C2000, said: “Due to specific focus and investments we are making, Computer 2000 has very quickly become established as the go-to distributor for public sector business.
"Special bids and special pricing are an important element of almost every significant deal in this market and by having a dedicated resource with real expertise, we’ll be able to give resellers even more help in developing their business with education, healthcare and local government.”
