Westcoast celebrated hitting its billion pound milestone by awarding a specially engraved iPad to VAR SoftwareOne.
Earlier this week, the distributor revealed its intentions, with sales and marketing director Alex Tatham personally delivering the gift and a certificate to SoftwareOne's managing director Zak Virdi (pictured).
Virdi's firm had officially become the 'billion pound customer' for Westcoast, by making the order that took its turnover over the magical £1bn turnover mark.
Joe Hemani, chairman and owner of Westcoast, said: "I couldn't be prouder of our distribution business. We have shown wonderful organic growth this year across a wide variety of Westcoast's vendors.
"It is a fabulous Christmas present as we approach our year end. I must thank all our customers and our staff for passing this major milestone this year."
Tatham added: "Our billionth pound of revenue was ordered and invoiced to SoftwareOne, a relatively new customer to Westcoast this year and certainly one that has helped Westcoast achieve this great milestone.
"I was delighted to deliver an engraved iPad to the team and a certificate to SoftwareOne's London office."
Virdi, said: "We are honoured to receive Westcoast's gift. We are so pleased for Westcoast's success - this only strengthens the SoftwareOne and Westcoast emerging and growing partnership. It is a landmark achievement, and we are glad to share the moment."
