Security specialist VAR Imerja has appointed Paul Taylor (pictured) as its UK sales manager as it plots aggressive growth.
Taylor's role will be to grow sales revenue and profits, with all members of the sales team reporting directly to him.
He boasts over 23 years' sales experience in the telecoms sector, and has also worked in the retail and manufacturing industries. Past roles have included senior management positions at Orange and Alcatel, and he co-founded management consultancy firm People Optimisation in 2009.
In a statement Taylor said: "Imerja has a fantastic reputation for service delivery and I'm relishing the prospect of helping to drive up revenues.
"I want to build upon past growth, and make this a company that's not just a centre of excellence for IT services, but also sales."
Ian Jackson, managing director of Imerja, said: "Paul brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will give us a huge edge in terms of sales strategy. With the senior management team we now have in place, we’re perfectly positioned to hit our ambitious growth targets.”
