Vigil Software has acquired rights to distribute kit from Ruckus Wireless.
Parent company Infinigate was already distributing for Ruckus in Germany, but has now extended the deal to its UK and Nordic partners, including UK distributor Vigil.
Alex Teh (pictured), co-founder and commercial director of Vigil Software and joint managing director of Infinigate UK – which bought a majority share in Vigil in September – claimed Infinigate was "extremely selective" regarding trading partners.
"We have established a first-class track record for stable and consistent product and service supply," he said.
James Calderbank, EMEA enterprise sales director at Ruckus, said Infinigate companies had excellent local distribution infrastructures, and a motto of helping customers to help their customers.
"The future is being tagged increasingly as a Wi-Fi one, considering the uptake of mobility and the use of technology," he added.
