Ingram Micro has snared an exclusive UK and Ireland distribution deal with ViewSonic to supply its digital signage products across the region.
The product set ranges from small-scale single units to entire videowalls.
Raj Pandya, head of Ingram Micro’s AV and Digital Signage UK division, said in a statement: “Large-format displays continue to show significant growth in the UK market. Ingram Micro are delighted to now be strengthening ViewSonic’s position within that space with this exclusive distribution partnership.
"ViewSonic is a very strong brand within display technology in the UK and we look forward to working closely with them to develop their digital signage and corporate communications market.”
Richard Carr, head of sales northern Europe at ViewSonic Europe, added: “As displays evolve from passive and static to active and dynamic, we are ready with a road map that embraces the latest interactive technologies to engage audiences and working with large distributors such as Ingram Micro will enable us to make our range of digital signage and solutions available in the UK and Ireland.
