DataCore Software has hired Bjarne Poulsen as sales director for the UK, Ireland, the Nordic countries and the Middle East. Poulsen has held positions at HDS, Brocade, Nishan, Scale Computing and Storsimple.

An SCC tech expert with 24 years of experience – public sector director Tracy Westall – has been hired by the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership to help with a number of incoming IT-focused initiatives including smart-city and connectivity projects.
