CRN is now in possession of the full ranking list for our first ever Vendor Report and it will make uncomfortable reading for some.
Based on detailed and honest feedback from more than 300 top UK VARs and integrators, this is the first time vendors will be able to see where they actually rank against their main competitors and all the major players in the market.
As we revealed last week, vendors have been ranked on five key aspects of service to the channel: product quality, account management and staff, accreditation and training, after-sales and technical support and overall service.
They are also scored on demand generation and funding and on commitment and leadership in the channel.
Some vendors that have clearly invested a lot of money in their channel programmes have not necessarily made the top 10 or even the top 20 – so where are they going wrong?
Others will quite rightly feel very pleased with how they have fared, but will still be able to identify areas for improvement.
And those in the bottom 10 could potentially be shocked by where they came, but will be able to see where the channel thinks they are going wrong and take appropriate action before it is too late.
