Ingram Micro has given its digital signage distribution a major push by expanding out its Scala offering to include all of Europe.
According to Ingram, it had only been offering Scala's digital signage software, including SaaS offerings, in the Nordic lands until now.
Nathalie Andersen, director of pro-AV digital signage at Ingram Micro Europe, said the firm was pleased to strengthen its relationship with Scala.
"Our European pro-AV division is very keen on supporting its IT and AV customers' projects, local or international, in collaboration with one of the most recognisable brands in the industry," she said. "Ingram Micro has been a long-term partner of Scala Nordics."
Harry Horn, vice president of marketing at Scala, said the US vendor aims to deliver appealing digital signage as a service, incorporating retail and corporate offerings and the related tools. Offerings can be used as part of implementations that involve delivery of analytics and business intelligence, he suggested.
