Allied Telesis has refused to confirm whether or not it has parted ways with distributor Northamber, with which it joined forces in 2010.
An anonymous text sent to ChannelWeb on Friday suggested that Northamber has lost its contract with switch-maker Allied Telesis -- and that networking product manager John Letkey has left the firm.
However, asked this morning by ChannelWeb, Allied Telesis said it would not confirm the news and was not prepared to comment at this time.
"We are making no comment, at this stage," a PR spokesperson told ChannelWeb.
According to Allied Telesis' website, Micro-P, Anixter and NBM Distribution are still working with the vendor, but there is no mention of Northamber.
ChannelWeb also called Northamber, but the distributor similarly refused to comment on the situation.
Northamber has lost a string of vendors recently.
