Micro-P Security has expanded its relationship with Dell, adding some of Quest Software's security products to its portfolio.
The distributor – formerly known as Tekdata – has a long-standing relationship with security appliance vendor SonicWall, which was acquired by Dell last year.
SonicWall has become part of Dell Software Group (DSG) and Dell has now granted Micro-P Security access to its full DSG portfolio, including Quest Software – another recent Dell acquisition.
Quest has more than 280 products in its portfolio but the distributor will initially focus on two of its security products: Quest Defender and Total Privileged Access Management.
Jason Hill, sales director at Micro-P Security, said: "As SonicWall's largest UK distributor, we are excited to have distribution access to DSG's full portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to have end-to-end solutions, all under one roof, available to our reseller partners.
"Our aim is to build on our success story with the SonicWall brand delivering relevant and margin-rich solutions to the channel with full technical and sales support. These are very exciting times and it demonstrates the strong trust relationship Micro-P and Dell have built."
