Kent-based print and related services provider Balreed Digitec has bought London rival E-volution Office Services.
Robin Stanton-Gleaves, group managing director of Balreed, said in a PR statement: "This acquisition is a significant development in the growth plans the business has to expand the London operation."
He said E-volution's clients would gain from access to Balreed's managed print services (MPS) offering and broader document and process portfolio for office and production print environments.
"The two organisations share many values and a commitment to delivering superior levels of service," claimed Stanton-Gleaves.
E-volution, based on Rushworth Street, Southwark, has several vendor partners in common with Balreed. It already has a big focus on MPS, as well as printer servicing and support, consumables supply, and printing audits.
Balreed will incorporate E-volution into its larger operation, which includes six regional offices.
