CA Technologies has added Comstor to its UK distributor line up after expanding their Stateside partnership.
The Westcon-owned distie will now have access to CA's IT monitoring software in a move it claims will expand its datacentre market presence in the UK.
CA claims its Nimsoft Monitor product helps users effectively monitor the quality of service delivered by their IT kit including servers, networks, storage and cloud technology.
The pair already works together through a similar distribution agreement in the US, and Comstor will join Ingram Micro, Arrow and Hammer on the vendor's UK distribution list.
Andreas Dohmen, Comstor's EMEA vice president said that the expansion was a natural progression.
"With a value proposition based on converged management, CA Technologies is one of the top vendors in the datacentre space," he said. "It's a natural progression to anchor our portfolio with this foundational monitoring technology."
The UK deal will help CA reach new resellers across a range of markets, according to its vice president for partner sales Andrea Dossena.
"By joining forces with Comstor, we're able to bring this powerful value proposition to customers in the UK and across vertical markets via the reseller channel," he said.
