Physical security specialist Rocate Distribution has become the latest UK channel name to hit the wall.
Based in Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire, Rocate sold a range of IT and CCTV products from vendors including Draytek, JVC Security, Ubiquiti and Veracity, as well as monitors under its own brand.
But the firm has succumbed and will be liquidated following a creditors' meeting on 28 January.
The insolvency is being handled by Carter Clark. An Intel Gold Technology Provider partner, Rocate also claimed to offer built-to-order IP servers for CCTV.
The most recent official statistics suggests that UK business insolvencies are continuing to ease but 2014 has already seen at least one high-profile channel casualty in the form of £50m-turnover distributor and tablet builder KMS Components.
