Financier BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions has launched four new modules to help resellers sell financial services to customers.
Andy Milsom, head of training and partner development at BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, said that procurement – technology, vehicles, plant or machinery – is rarely down to just one person at the customer organisation.
"[Therefore] our courses are designed to assist channel salespeople to talk both solution and finance confidently at every level to ensure maximum win rate. Our goal is to help the channel sell more, and give UK businesses another viable funding source," Milsom said.
The new modules, developed in response to reseller feedback, are:
• An introduction to financial statements
• Leasing and the law
• Selling to the public
• Why businesses lease
According to the vendor, the training programme kicked off in 2013 and 1,000 delegates have passed through it so far. The aim, according to BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, is to help resellers and other tech suppliers sell kit even in a downturn – for example, by offering leasing at point of sale.
