Two of Misco's UK leadership team are set to depart the reseller, CRN understands.
Channel chatter has it that both UK and Ireland executive vice president Gary Withington, and sales director Richard Logan are on their way out of the e-tailer. Both arrived at the VAR in 2012 having spent many years working for top hardware vendors.
Having already spent more than seven years at Sun Microsystems, Withington joined Dell in 1998, spending 10 years there. After six months at another company, he returned to the Texan PC maker for a further three-year spell before joining Misco in May 2012, his LinkedIn profile reveals.
Logan joined him at the reseller seven months later, departing HP after more than a decade. He joined HP through the vendor's acquisition of Compaq, where he was employed for four years. Earlier in his career he worked for firms including Psion and Fujifilm.
It is not known what prompted the duo's departure from the £300m-turnover VAR, when they are officially leaving or whether the two exits are related. CRN has contacted Misco and was awaiting response at time of publication.
In its most recent quarterly results, Misco owner Systemax's B2B operations were the star performer, with global Q2 revenue rising 10.1 per cent year on year to $626.1m (£385.2m). The company's EMEA business – of which Misco is the biggest constituent part – saw its second-quarter sales grow 9.1 per cent to $277.1m.
Automation firms UiPath and Automation Anywhere close out their funding rounds with $265m and $300m respectively
