Fledgling cybersecurity vendor Resolution1 Security has appointed its first UK distributor ahead of its official launch on 1 January.
The incident response specialist, which is in the process of splitting out from AccessData, has selected Turrem Data as its first European distributor.
Surrey-based Turem has been charged with handling all aspects of channel sales, partner training, marketing support and first- and second-level technical support in western Europe for Resolution1.
Its immediate focus will be recruiting enterprise security resellers and SIs in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France and Spain.
Resolution1's platform is designed to mitigate the losses and reputational risk associated with cybersecurity breaches by providing end-point threat detection, network communications analysis and automated incident response capabilities.
"Our advanced Resolution1 Security Platform grew rapidly through direct sales and now the market demand has dictated that we execute aggressively to deliver integrated and automated IR solutions through the reseller channel," said Neil Batstone (pictured), vice president of global alliances and channels at Resolution1 Security.
"Turrem Data brings the deep market expertise Resolution1 Security was looking for in expanding our Resolution1 Connect channel programme."
Turrem managing director Chris Morris said: "This proven solution, which seamlessly integrates into existing infosec environments, is a powerful tool that will drive demand for our resellers and their customers."
