Tech Data has further expanded its vendor portfolio by partnering with NAS specialist Synology.
Covering the UK and Ireland, the deal will see Tech Data distribute its entire range of NAS products to its reseller base.
The deal tops off a strong year for Synology, which has undergone an office relocation, RMA territory expansion and has doubled the size of its technical support team.
Adam Lee, PCC category manager at Tech Data, said: "Synology has a strong and growing reputation for delivering great performance and quality. It is an exciting and extremely promising addition to our growing NAS range and one that presents a big opportunity to resellers. The products are excellent and address the widest spectrum of potential – from enterprise to SMBs and even home users, so there is something for every one of our customers – from corporate VARs to independent retailers and every kind of B2B reseller in between."
Stefan Ferrari, sales manager for Synology UK and Ireland, added: "We are excited to work with Tech Data and confident in exploring new opportunities in the SMB and enterprise areas. Both parties are confident to have consistent growth moving forward."
