Logicalis is planning to launch a UK service management hub in the UK following the success of a similar practice in the Netherlands.
The Service Management Consulting (SMC) arm of the reseller claims the move is in response to increasing demand for its ITSM [IT service management] products. The firm already has an SMC base in the Netherlands, which is home to 120 ITSM staff who work with clients around the world.
The UK facility will be based in Slough and will have six staff initially. By the end of the year, Logicalis hopes to have 25 people working there.
Logicalis SMC chief executive Eugene Wolf said: "After significant growth in the past two years, we are seeing a real breakthrough outside the Netherlands with our IT-Guardian best-practice ITSM solution now firmly in the spotlight of the major multinationals.
"We already have extensive experience in the UK market and, working alongside key partners such as ServiceNow and HP, we see huge potential here."
