VAR Axial Systems has unveiled security policy management specialist AlgoSec as its latest vendor ally.
Algosec, which claims to do 90 per cent of business through the channel, released the latest version of the AlgoSec Security Management Suite – which aims to manage complex network security policies – earlier this month. The new version is designed to enable organisations to simplify the migration of individual servers, or entire applications to the public cloud.
Axial managing director Mike Simmonds said AlgoSec would be an essential solution for his firm's customers because it automates and simplifies security management across the hybrid enterprise.
"With enterprise networks becoming increasingly complex, we are seeing demand grow for security solutions that automate resource-intensive manual processes and better protect systems and data – especially across mixed estates of products from multiple vendors," he said.
Eli Adler, AlgoSec's vice president EMEA, added: "As one of the UK's leading independent IT value-added resellers, Axial has established strong relationships with major UK companies across all sectors.
"The company's expertise in delivering enterprise-level solutions, value-added services and support will be key to uncovering new opportunities to help customers automate their security policy management, reduce their costs and ensure security and compliance."
