Cybersecurity vendor Hexis is aiming to sign up 20 UK VARs over the next year after enlisting Exclusive Networks as the first EMEA distributor of its Hawkeye G Software.
Founded in 2011, the security firm – a subsidiary of cybersecurity consultant KEYW – claims its enterprise-focused Hawkeye G software detects, verifies and removes threats.
Speaking to CRN, Bernard Girbal, vice president of channels EMEA at Hexis, said he is aiming to recruit 20 UK VARs and a handful of SIs over the next 12 months through Exclusive.
“Nobody really verifies like we do, and nobody today automatically responds and cleans up the end-points and threats after the malware has been detected,” he said.
The firm previously worked directly with UK resellers including Softcat and Exponential-e but Girbal said his company will benefit from the reach that a pan-European distributor offers.
"We wanted a distributor that really adds value in the market in terms of technical expertise, marketing, and go-to-market capabilities and we also wanted somebody that can address the international market," he said.
"Ideally I would say that in the UK we would target 20 trained VARs and a handful of high-level systems integrators that will actively integrate and deploy the Hexis solution."
