Grahame Smee has left Exertis two years after selling his security VAD, Cohort Technologies, to the broadline distributor.
Gerry O'Keeffe, group managing director of Exertis, said in a statement: "There's no doubt that Grahame has been instrumental in combining our existing VAD business with that of the Cohort business, to create a dynamic and growing division that has flourished to become a key part of Exertis' IT proposition. On behalf of the whole team, I would like to thank Grahame for his contribution to the business, and his hard work. I wish him well for the future."
Grahame Smee added: "I have thoroughly enjoyed the past two years and seeing the results of my contribution to the business result in further success for Exertis. I wish the business and the great teams I worked with every success in the future."
Smee, who left Exertis effective today, told us: "I will be re-appearing at some point soon."
