Ambitious Shift F7 Group has added another mark to its acquisition tally by snapping up services firm Greencorn Ltd.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see the Dorking-based firm incorporated into the Shift F7 Group, with Shift F7 moving to Greencorn’s offices to accommodate the enlarged teams.
As a result, Greencorn’s owner, Andrew Loftus, is set to join Shift F7 as a technical consultant.
Garry King, chief executive of Shift F7, said: “The acquisition provides Shift F7 with additional customers, expansion of a first-class helpdesk and the ability to build upon Greencorn’s and Shift F7’s service offerings and to combine our datacentre services.
“Greencorn is a customer service-focused business with exceptional technical expertise, dealing with a wide range of SME customers across the South East of England. Combining the rest of the Greencorn team’s proven experience and their loyal customer base with Shift F7 will be an excellent accelerator for our group growth strategy.”
Shift F7 has been expanding rapidly as it positions itself for future growth, last year poaching services specialist James Hunter-Paterson from rival Green Fields Technology, after having stepped on the acquisition trail over recent years, snapping up 'non-competing' acquisitions as it looks to become a mid-market giant.
Loftus added: “Joining Shift F7 makes perfect sense for Greencorn at this time, and I am looking forward to the advantages that this move will generate for all of my team and also for our customers. The Shift F7 Group provides the wherewithal to consolidate the range of services that we can currently offer, which is good news for us and our customers.”
