APH Computers claims it has taken an "important step" towards SAP Business One Gold partner status after acquiring southern peer Complete Business Systems (CBS).
Manchester-based APH has expanded its headcount to 25 by purchasing Sussex-based CBS for an undisclosed sum.
The duo claim to have expertise in verticals including field services, engineering, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution and e-commerce.
"The acquisition represents an exciting new chapter in our story as a family business, and we're looking forward to bringing our unique solution to more companies in the south-east and across the UK," said APH director Charlie Heywood.
Keith Gale, managing director of CBS, added: "We've always taken pride in our ability to offer a complete solution to our customers. With this acquisition, they'll benefit from an even greater resource pool and more extensive SAP Business One expertise than ever before."
