UK-based cloud MSP Attenda has been acquired by US infrastructure firm Ensono.
Based in Staines, Attenda is a managed services and cloud services provider specialising in business-critical applications.
Attenda is the second UK cloud MSP to be snapped up by a larger US firm of late, after Datapipe swallowed Adapt last month.
Mark Fowle, CEO at Attenda, said the acquisition will allow Attenda to grow in the enterprise space.
"Ensono is aligned with our belief that scale and reach are increasingly important characteristics for service providers who target mid- to large-sized enterprises, and is committed to supporting our goal of providing the best possible solutions for the myriad of complex and rapidly evolving IT challenges that our clients face," he said.
Fowle, who is also the co-founder of Attenda, is set to join the Ensono board of directors to aid in the transition of the company's business to Ensono.
The combined company will be led by existing Ensono CEO Jeff VonDeylen, who claims the Attenda services will complement Ensonos' current offering.
"Ensono's expertise in managing mission-critical operations, coupled with the standardised platforms and services of Attenda in managed public and private cloud, help accelerate Ensono's strategy to enable its clients to operate seamlessly across multiple environments," he said.
