Having enlisted a new UK boss last year, Dimension Data has recruited former Cisco bigwig Andy Ritchie as UK&I sales director.
Dimension Data signalled its intent for its UK business to become more services focused when Barney Taylor took the reins last June.
Ritchie (pictured) brings with him "strong expertise in managing complex IT solutions and cloud platforms", and his appointment "signals a clear strategic intent for significant growth" for the UK and Ireland business, Dimension Data said.
He was previously head of global sales at Cisco, and has also worked for BT Global Services and T-Systems.
Taylor said: "We are delighted to welcome Andy to our executive team. Our UK&I business has seen strong sales performance and consecutive growth in recent quarters. Andy brings global and local sales experience to his new senior role at Dimension Data and we look forward to accelerated services-led sales growth under his leadership."
