Softcat is set to open its seventh UK office, in Southampton, later this year.
The office will be used to service Softcat's private and public sector clients in the region and will have the capacity for 25 to 30 employees.
Softcat said the Southampton team will be a combination of existing Softcat employees and local graduates, as the VAR takes its acclaimed apprenticeship team to the south coast.
"This will be an exciting move to the south coast of England and one that has been on the cards for some time to enhance working options for existing staff," said managing director Colin Brown.
"With an existing client base in the area, it's important to have a presence in the south of England staffed by long-serving Softcat staff and supplemented by new, local talent."
Softcat's last office opening came in June 2016, when it moved into Scotland with a Glasgow premises.
Alongside the Glasgow office are its headquarters in Marlow and bases in Manchester, London, Bristol and Leeds.
Softcat's outgoing CEO Martin Hellawell revealed earlier this year that the reseller was considering taking its first steps outside the UK, and discussing the possibility of expanding into Ireland.
