Manchester-based hosting provider Melbourne Server Hosting has been rebranded to its parent company's name, five years after being acquired by iomart.
London Stock Exchange-listed iomart took over the hosting and cloud services provider in 2012, triggering an acquisition spree that also saw it take over the likes of Redstation and Backup Technology in 2013, SystemsUp and United Hosting in 2015, and storage VAR Cristie in 2016.
The deal for Melbourne saw iomart establish a datacentre presence in the north of England for the first time.
Speaking of the rebrand, iomart's Manchester sales director Rob Grimshaw said: "We believe the time is right to change the name to iomart to reflect the increased capabilities we can offer in all areas of digital transformation.
"Iomart doesn't sell one type of hosting, we offer a vast range of products and services backed by industry-leading technical expertise to help with whatever IT challenges you are facing.
"By focusing on the iomart brand we can take this clear message to the whole of the north west."
