Public sector-focused system builder Stone Group has unveiled former Insight and Vohkus sales boss Tim Westbrook as its new sales and marketing director.
Westbrook left £60m-revenue, Southampton-based reseller Vohkus last month, having previously served two stints as UK sales director of global reseller Insight between 2008 and 2014.
Staffordshire-based system builder and ICT provider Stone posted a net loss of £1.18m on revenues of £84.5m in its financial year to 31 December 2016.
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Tim to Stone Group," said Simon Harbridge, CEO, Stone Group. "Over the years, I have seen what Tim has achieved at Vohkus and Insight and have been very impressed."
Westbrook added: "[Stone] has a well-established and enviable market position in UK education and the public sector, exceptionally strong vendor partnerships, its own brand products as well as being an exceptional value added reseller with a well-earned reputation for outstanding customer service."
