Career so far I started out as sales director with Lanier in 1989, before moving to the Performing Rights Society as head of sales, and then becoming managing director for Printware in October 2006.

If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do? Simon Cowell. What would I do? Shoot myself!

What would you have as your last meal? Something very Italian like Saltimbocca.

What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? Ive hosted a couple of trips to Rejkavik, Iceland. It’s a mad place full of Skidoos and life-size Tonka toys.

Do you see the cloud as a threat or an opportunity? Opportunity – change is inevitable and a force of nature; it’s adapting to change that matters.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? I didn’t win the Lottery and England didn’t win the World Cup.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2011? Balancing the opportunity that e-commerce brings with the inevitable low-price challenge that web sales brings.

What is the best part of your day? Early morning before the madness of the day sets in.
