Career so far I have been in the IT industry for 19 years now, working in a variety of roles at Hammer prior to becoming managing director six years ago.

If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be and what would you do? I would be Tiger Woods.

What would you have as your last meal? Butcher’s sausages, mash and onion gravy.

What is the best corporate jolly you have ever been on/taken partners on? It has to be when I went to the Intel Conference earlier this year, and got stuck in Dubai for 11 days while staying at the Atlantis Palm Hotel, waiting for the volcanic ash cloud to clear.

Do you see the cloud as a threat or an opportunity? An opportunity. Threats can easily be turned into opportunities.

Have any of your predictions come true this year? No – I didn’t make any predictions as it is such an unpredictable market.

What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2011? Maintaining growth.

What is the best part of your day? Going home and seeing my family.
