The system builder was one of a number of firms on this list to suffer from the death of the Home Access scheme in FY11, with turnover down almost 10 per cent. The initiative still provided £4.9m in sales, but this compares with £12.8m in the previous year. But profitability was on the up as operating margins rose from 3.5 to 4.1 per cent, helped by a boost in the company’s services business, which now contributes a fifth of the total top line.
