Career so far I started out at Sharp Electronics, going from sales manager to business unit director. I joined TDMaverick in 1996.
If you could be anyone else for a week, who would you be? Me 20 years ago – there are so many things I would have done differently knowing what I know now.
What will next year’s most overhyped industry buzzword be? Converged unified communicated clouds.
Has 2012 been a good, bad or ugly year? All three – good as a whole (or even great), bad in some areas where we have not gained traction and absolutely ugly in some countries where the economy is challenging.
What would you have as your last meal? Anything with red wine (lots of it).
What keeps you awake at night? Too many opportunities, not enough time.
What piece of technology could you not be without? My iPhone. It’s not great at anything but good enough at everything.
Have any of your predictions come true this year? If only I was that good.
What is the best partner/customer trip you have ever been on? This year BenQ held its distributor event in Sydney – amazing.
What do you see as the channel’s biggest challenge in 2013? From an AV perspective, understanding the shift from hardware margin towards services.
