Career so far I have held sales/sales management roles in resellers, distributors and vendors including Compel, Azlan and Nokia.
What was your first job and were you any good at it? I was a paper boy and judging by the Christmas tips I used to get, yes!
Who was your top teenage pin-up? Daisy off The Dukes of Hazzard.
My colleagues won't know this about me but... I played Rumpelstiltskin in a school play to rave reviews.
What is your favourite snack? Heinz Spaghetti Hoops (no other brand will do).
What has been your career high point to date? Getting the first PO at Cloud Distribution - it was small but was the first validation that we'd created something that someone else wanted to buy.
Has 2013 been good, bad or ugly? A good year. We've more than doubled the business revenue while going through a year of massive change bringing in new vendors and new people.
What do you say when asked at a party what you do for a living? I'm a salesman in the IT industry. That either scares them off or encourages them to share all of their IT woes at home - then I'm in trouble.
If I wasn't working in the channel I would probably be... a ski instructor.
What will be the channel's biggest challenge in 2014? Profitable differentiation from the competition.
