Packing toilet fittings into containers for export to Nigeria. It sounds worse than it was. No, really.

What do you do as your party trick?
It normally involves a wedding, some beer and a dance floor.
What is your favourite chocolate bar?
Dime... Bar... Armadillo! Actually, I'm not fussy. In fact, I've never been known to refuse chocolate.
What has been the highlight of your career to date?
Getting our first order for channelfusion. I probably didn't celebrate it very much, but you won't have seen a bigger smile.
Has 2014 been a good, bad or ugly year?
Ugly. Have you seen the newspapers?
As a world, as humans, we need help. If we're not killing ourselves and our planet, we're hopelessly addicted to cat videos and Z-list celebrities. At least Liverpool finished 2nd. Roll on 2015.
How would you explain the IT channel to a stranger without boring them to death?
I never succeeded before, why start now?
Aside from the channel, my dream career would be... a wedding photographer. It is hard work, but very rewarding.
What major issues will the channel face in 2015?
Re-educating ourselves. It's a brave new world out there. The same old, same old isn't going to cut the mustard any more. How people procure, implement and use IT is changing rapidly. What we sell and how we sell it needs to adapt at the same pace. We need to be more creative, work harder, open our minds to new ideas and forge ahead.
