Chief executive, TechQuarters
What achievement are you most proud of?
Setting up TechQuarters from my second bedroom in Wimbledon and helping it grow to where it is today - we now have three offices and a great team.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
The fact that distribution and some large solution providers have got more into providing services around transactional services, which has opened up a whole new market for niche service providers.
What three things could you not live without?
1. My terrace as I love being able to look out over London. 2. My phone as it keeps me connected to my team. 3. My wetsuit as I've been a swimmer since I was a kid.
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
When my PA was helping me clear out my attic and found my graduation photo and took a picture. She then sent it to the marketing executive at TechQuarters and it ended up in our monthly round-up PowerPoint presentation to the whole company.
What do your family think you do all day?
Boss people around during the week and train for sporting events at the weekend.
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
What is your guilty pleasure?
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Open the door to immigrants.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
Good. The company has expanded into a new office, I got to do my second triathlon with my team (my eighth and their second) and I raised £1,500 for Alzheimer's Society.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
The cloud is becoming more and more mainstream, which will affect the channel as software is becoming more commodity based. We, IT providers, need to sharpen up their services to stay on top.
