What achievement are you most proud of?
Developing the Global IT Alliance with our worldwide reseller partners, which has in turn hugely benefitted the growth of the UK business.
What has been the biggest change in the channel since you started working in it?
The price of TFT monitors, which used to be about £2,500 for a 15in screen. Today it's about £100 for a 19in.
What three things could you not live without?
Laughter for joy, music to uplift and calm. Alright, alright - my phone!
What has been your most embarrassing moment so far?
Too many to mention!
What do your family think you do all day?
Mostly go on holiday and do boring, boring work.
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Kiera Knightly.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Scooter (the ‘musician', not the mobility vehicle).
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
Legislate for fibre broadband in every nook and cranny of the UK.
Has 2015 been a good, bad or ugly year?
Good - continued growth in the business and always learning new things. It's just the pace of the years disappearing seems to quicken!
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would you do?
Investment banker.
What major issues will the channel face in 2016?
The rise and rise in complexity of IT environments and the move towards subscription-based IT, which will in turn provide a great opportunity to showcase our skills and flexibility as a reseller community.
