What is your greatest career move to date?
Joining SCC.
What is top of your bucket list?
Watching a Boxing Day Ashes Test match in Melbourne.
What has changed most since you started working in the channel?
Everyone I know has got older.
How do you think Brexit is going to affect the channel?
It already is doing; clearly the changes in the FX rate has already impacted the costs that our customers are seeing.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
My dog Fred (a Rhodesian ridgeback). He gets fed and fussed and seems to spend a lot of time sleeping.
If you won the big one on EuroMillions, what would you do?
Be surprised as I don't buy a ticket very often. The amounts you can win are just bonkers so I guess I would look to give a lot of it away.
What is your worst habit?
My ability to slip a fair amount of expletives into a sentence - I'm well known for it in the SCC offices.
How has 2016 been for you?
The year has just got better and better. I worked at fixing a load of personal stuff so I am a happier person all round.
If you didn't work in the IT channel, what would be your dream career?
An X Factor judge - that's got to be a bit of a laugh.
What major issues will the channel face in 2017?
An increasing shortage of skilled people. It's not a new issue but it feels like it's getting worse.
