Tell us something most people won't know about you

I'm an ordained church minister.

What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?

Watching our daughter Ffion get back on the football pitch for Wales v England International after a harrowing ACL knee injury last November.

Who would play you in the film of your life?

Tom Cruise.

Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?

Tesla.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Drinking red wine.

What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?

"I don't have the bandwidth", "I'm swamped" or "I'm too buzy" will do just fine thanks.

What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?

Ensure every company trading in the UK pays taxes to the UK. If you trade here, it's your social obligation to contribute.

What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?

How we could use AI and robotics to make ‘mundane' tasks history.

What is your most treasured possession?

I don't have any. ‘Possessions' are to be enjoyed not treasured - lest the things we own end up owning us.

What do your family think you do all day?

According to my youngest daughter, Sara, all I do is talk to lots of people and drink coffee.

Who has been your mentor in business?

I have several but mainly Patrick Lencioni and Jim Collins (I've read all their books).
