Christmas is my favourite time of year - I am really very sentimental.
What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?
Cisco's sponsorship of the WIC and CRN Awards. Exciting times!
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Bit young but Drew Barrymore. One of my favourites for her versatility and she's funny.
Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?
Aside from Cisco, to be honest I would be hard pushed to choose one!
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Lauren Perrier Rose.
What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?
Not especially one from this year, but I'd go with ‘in layman's terms', followed by an explanation that is anything but.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
A four-day week with five days' pay.
What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?
Talent! Harnessing diverse skills from other industries to supplement what we have.
What is your most treasured possession?
My two boys.
What do your family think you do all day?
I think my sons believe I spend all my time doing social activities - lunches, dinners and golf!
Who has been your mentor in business?
Without sounding cheesy, my dad taught me three things that still ring true today: how to shake hands properly; treat company money like it's your own; and remember where you came from.
