During my student days I worked in a jewellery store selling Rolexs and learning to engrave.
What has been your highlight of 2018 so far?
From a personal note the 40 per cent-plus year-on-year organic growth within Agilitas. From an industry note, the theme of ‘relevance' to provide added value services to the channel.
Who would play you in the film of your life?
If Gary Oldman can play Churchill so convincingly, playing me will be a doddle for him!
Which tech firm (other than your own!) do you most admire?
Any startup that is cash positive and making a profit. These firms don't have the baggage that many businesses have, so are a perfect breeding ground for driving innovation and challenging convention.
What is your guiltiest pleasure?
A vanilla latte or two. Don't tell my wife!
What is the most irritating tech buzzphrase of 2018?
The overuse of ‘AI' by people and companies that haven't got a clue and are simply trying to look relevant rather than be relevant.
What would be your first act if you were made Prime Minister?
If Brexit has taught us anything it's to abolish any form of vote.
What's the biggest untapped opportunity facing the channel?
Innovation through collaboration in a globalised world.
What is your most treasured possession?
My Tony Hancock audiobooks - a rare moment of escapism in a hectic world.

Who has been your mentor in business?
There have been so many and hopefully a few more to come along the way. All have set new standards, energised those around them, made work fun and created a connection that was more than just a job.
